December 11, 2012     / / / / / / / / / /

December 5 marked the death of Oscar Niemeyer, the world famous Brazilian modern architect.

This mans resume is more than a mile long, with accomplishments in architecture in numerous countries: Brazil, the US, Switzerland and more. His work is marked by sumptuous curved lines, and impressive shapes, and has been hailed a “sculptor” of architecture.

Mr. Niemeyer lived to 105 years of age, and was designing architecture all the way up until his recent death.  The world has lost a great man.
