Paris Fashion Week, Haute Couture 2013

The Haute Couture Fashion week in Paris just wrapped up (January 21 – 24). As with anything beautiful, Oceans Design Group was naturally interested to see the upcoming styles and trends. Now we can always go into the politics behind fashion, and the recession and the reasoning these houses still create haute couture….but we would rather just marvel at the beauty!

We noticed 3 trends this Spring/Summer 2013 season: white hot, red hot and suiting!! Nearly all the images we saw from fashion week, each designer incorporated at least one, if not all three of these trends.  And without further a do….here is a peek into fashion week and the three trends we spotted!

Traditionally Haute Couture has been an out there and bizarre take on fashion, but these styles and trends feel more wearable and suited to modern day life. Perhaps that is how Haute Couture has evolved with the recession to be more consumer friendly. Either way, these trends are exciting and we look forward to how buyers will translate all of this into their daily lives.
